I offer private counselling sessions in person, online, and through outdoor walk-and-talk therapy. Sessions take place in a welcoming and private setting, including a cosy therapy pod to help you feel relaxed and at ease.
Everything you share is treated with complete confidence. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you’ll be listened to with care and understanding, helping you feel safe, supported and more like yourself again.

Is this you?

Sometimes it's hard to put a name to it. You just know that something doesn't feel right. You might be feeling:
Overwhelmed, exhausted, or emotionally drained
Anxious, low, or carrying a constant sense of worry
Going through a difficult change, a loss, or a relationship struggle
Stuck in patterns that seem hard to change
Like you're holding everything together for everyone else
Simply not feeling your normal self. without quite knowing why
Whatever you're carrying, it matters. You deserve a space where you can speak freely and be truly listened to.

How I work

A space just for you

My approach is to offer a calm, private and confidential space where you can be completely honest and open without the fear of any judgment.
This is your time, and safe space, there is no agenda, no pressure to share before you're ready, and no expectation of where things should go. I work at your pace with what you bring.
Together, we create space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what you're experiencing. You don’t need to have the right words or know where to begin. You don’t need to filter your thoughts or make things sound “okay”.
You will be met with warmth, respect and understanding as you find your own way forward.

The Pod – Therapy in peaceful natural surroundings

For those who prefer not to walk, The Pod provides a private and comfortable space in nature. Being outdoors can greatly ease the pressure of a more formal face-to-face setting, helping conversations to flow more naturally.
Many people find the pod calming, grounding, and easier to slow down and open up a different kind of conversation.
The pod is a cosy space set in a private meadow with its own log burner, creating a quiet, comfortable and secluded space throughout the year, with the calming benefits of nature for your session.
This can be helpful if you:
Feel more at ease in a relaxed, informal setting
Find nature calming and soothing
Want privacy, warmth and a sense of being properly contained
Want a more relaxed way to talk than a traditional therapy room

About me

Hello, I'm Ellie.
I’m a qualified Integrative counsellor offering a calm, supportive and confidential space where you can feel safe to talk openly, at your own pace.
Having experienced counselling myself, I understand firsthand the difference it can make to feel truly heard and understood within a supportive, non-judgemental space and what it takes to reach out in the first place.
Counselling gave me the opportunity to better understand myself, to find a greater sense of peace, and navigate life’s ups and downs with more self-awareness and compassion.
I believe in the calming effects associated with being in nature, which is why I decided to offer outdoor sessions as part of my practice.
I aim to be someone who listens with care and without judgement so that you can feel able to be yourself.
I work with adults who may be navigating a wide range of life challenges — from anxiety and low mood, to relationship difficulties, loss of a loved one, life transitions, and those quieter struggles in life that can sometimes be the hardest to put into words.
My approach draws on three evidence-based ways of working, adapted to whatever feels most helpful for you:
Person-Centred Therapy — warm and non-directive, built on trust, empathy and the belief that the right relationship can help you to grow and heal.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — practical support to help you notice triggers, patterns and behaviours and ways of working through and overcoming them.
Transactional Analysis — a way of understanding patterns in how we think, feel and relate to others, often shaped by earlier experiences.

Taking the First Step

Ready when you are

If you’re considering counselling, reaching out often seems like the hardest part. You might not know what to say, whether counselling is right for you, or whether what you're feeling is “enough” to ask for support.
It is, but you don't need to have any of that figured out before you get in touch.
We can begin with a short, informal conversation to see how it feels. There’s no pressure, no expectations and no commitment.
Just a chance to get a sense of how it feels, ask any questions, and decide whether you'd like to take things further.
Initial conversations are FREE and last around 20 minutes.

Once you contact me, I'll reply by email to arrange a no-obligation chat where we can chat through together what you're looking for and whether you feel comfortable that I'm the right person to support you.
